Helena Community Connections and some of its programs are alive and well, though virtual, in this COVID-19 time. HCC has missed seeing everyone at monthly, in person events, such as Bridges Buffet, Cranium Cafe, My Destiny and Gentle Ways. HCC board members continue to discuss when we all can meet again face to face. HCC’s return to normalcy is uncertain at this time. Covenant United Methodist Church is only allowing groups of ten or less to use its community room. HCC misses the fellowship that we have all enjoyed face to face. HCC looks forward to seeing you all again. In the meantime, please follow HCC’s reopening status and enjoy the sometimes homegrown virtual Bridges Buffet presentations. Please click on the Virtual Events Tab.

HCC program months are September, October, November and December. And, February, March, April and May. The April, 2021 program is an interesting topic: Fort Yellowstone. The May, 2021, the Bridges Buffet topic covers life legacies. None of us need to leave a pile of cash to those we love in order to leave an enduring legacy. Photos, stories, music, poems, recipes, faith builders, collections, etc. likely all have deep meaning in our lives and will be savored long after we depart. The May link to a life legacy idea is StoryCorps. And, look forward to HCC hosting an in-depth, in person, workshop on life legacies in the future.

Our mission is to engage community organizations to conduct workshops, lectures, personal interactions, and educational opportunities that enrich the quality of life for all.
